Women follow me wherever I go

The following ad has been popping up regularly lately, seemingly following me around.

Can someone please explain to me why these busty, attractive women:

a) want me instead of a young man?

b) have so much trouble meeting men that they feel they need to use a dating service? They certainly don't look shy!

c) if they're looking for a sugar daddy, isn't there an app for that?

I think the ad would be more believable if instead of saying "you", it said "Vinny".

Just the same, I'm afraid I have to decline. Sorry, ladies--this old man is taken.

We're finally getting a real football team

For several years, National Football League fans in the Greater Toronto Area have been fighting for an NFL expansion team. Although it seems any expansion plans are on the backburner due to a possible lockout this coming season, sports fans are getting a different kind of football team.
The LFL announced Wednesday that it is branching out to Canada and expanding its teams from 10 to 15, according to the Toronto Sun. Toronto will be one of the five cities to get a team this autumn and will play against Eastern Conference teams Baltimore Charm, Cleveland Crush, Orlando Fantasy, Philadelphia Passion and Tampa Breeze.

Did they purposely lace the descriptions with suggestive terms or is it just me? Is a "punishing blow" a good thing or bad? Will they someday compile a video of the LFL's Greatest Hits? Say the last two words three times fast.

Live women to fill dead air

Notice the lovely symmetry of her...eyes...the contrast between her soft, warm hands, and the hard, cold steel of the socket wrench she grasps almost as a pool cue--almost as if she knows how to use it. Admire the lovely lines of the classic beauty--the young lady has nice lines, too, but unfortunately, she appears to get out less frequently than the machine behind her. She could use a little colour in her cheeks (all of them)--perhaps candy apple red?

Live ladies to fill dead air

Since I seem to have little to post about lately, I decided to fill some of the dead air with some very live ladies. I mean to grace these pages with very lovely images. First up is Tiffani Thiessen. You may remember her from the popular teen TV series Saved by the Bell. The lil girl growed up real good. Most recently, she can be seen on White Collar.

A lesson in photography

I'm a big fan of good photography and this is an example of excellent work. Notice the exquisite use of lighting; the contrasting colours; the breeze through the hair. The stark background with straight lines accentuate the curves of the subject in the foreground. The hard and jagged wall gives truth to the softness and smoothness before it.

Okay, I really posted this because she's so damn hott...and because of the great airbrush job...sorta. That and the fact she was staring at me from the page where I got the subject of my previous post. By the way, her name is Lucy Pinder.

I beg your pardon?

Dallas Stars forward Sean Avery is in hot water again. The Superpest of the NHL received a suspension for conduct "detrimental to the league or game of hockey."

The offence occurred when the team was in Calgary and Avery made these comments on camera:

"I'm really happy to be back in Calgary. I love Canada. I just want to comment on how it's become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds."

Avery's ex-girlfriend, actress Elisha Cuthbert, is dating Calgary defenceman Dion Phaneuf and had been romantically linked to Mike Komisarek of the Montreal Canadiens. Avery also dated model and actress Rachel Hunter, the girlfriend of Los Angeles Kings centre Jarrett Stoll.

Elisha Cuthbert:

The Stars were so shocked by their own player's conduct that they publicly supported the suspension. In the past, he's occasionally painted his fingernails black to distract an opponent during a fight. On the ice, he is human sandpaper. Newsweek dubbed Avery "the human equivalent of jock itch."

Designing women

I am by no means an expert at image editing, but if I were in charge of designing women, this pretty body builder would look more like the lower image.

There's just something about a woman who looks like she can punish you (and not in a good way), that is a real turn-off. Tell me what you think by clicking on "Comments" below.

(By the way, I wonder why somebody edited out the Kia she was holding on her shoulder.)
