This is a major reason I love Canada. Do we have racism? Of course, but name a place that is 10,000 square kilometres that has no strife at all. The point is that the atmosphere here is not highly toxic with bigotry. And I'm not the only one in this country who celebrates Canadian diversity. When we have a cultural clash, we sit down and try to sensibly work out something that is agreeable to both sides. This approach has made Canada one of the top destinations per capita for immigration.
